About The New Geneva

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website! The New Geneva is a Reformed theology blog committed to the Three Forms of Unity and the Westminster Standards.  We emphasize what it means to be a Reformed Christian: the importance of the creeds and confessions, covenant theology, the sacraments, infant baptism, and the doctrines of grace.

As lay persons, it’s our desire to create a bridge for ordinary men and women to learn about Reformed theology in a down to earth and understandable way.  Our blog posts are written by Anthony Charles (aka The Real Tony) and Angela Whitehorn.

Tony lives in Los Angeles, California and is transitioning from the PCA to the United Reformed Church in America (URCNA).  He is married and has two adult sons.  His Bachelor’s degree is in Theology from The Master’s University and he is a descendant of the French Huguenots.  Tony also hosts the @ReformedTwitt3r account. You can read more about him here.

Angela lives in Chicago, Illinois and is a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). She has her MBA and BSBA in Finance and is married and currently a stay at home mom. Angela is a talented musician and is a huge Chicago Cubs Fan!  She is also well known from her time as a co-host of the popular Theology Gals podcast.  Read more about her here.

All of our artwork is done by Sarah Perkins, who is married to Harrison Perkins, pastor of London City Presbyterian church.  Sarah is a Reformed Christian and is a visual learner.  She has a passion for theology and art and is the proprietor of Illustrated Theology.  Take a look at her beautiful art work on Instagram!

We look forward to Sarah and other writers joining The New Geneva in 2022!
